Your Mission
As an AI-Driven Full Stack Developer – Public & Private Cloud, you develop end-to-end software solutions across both cloud tracks, ranging from SAP-based private cloud products to cloud-native public cloud applications on SAP BTP.You use AI systematically as a development tool, from AI pair programming and automated code generation to the integration of agentic workflows. You do not work alongside AI, but with AI as an integral part of your development process.
You combine frontend and backend expertise with a deep understanding of modern cloud architectures, UX design principles, and quality engineering, playing a key role in the technological differentiation of our products.
Your Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
- Develop frontend and backend components for SaaS products
- Implement responsive, high-performance UI systems and scalable API services
- Apply clean core principles and API-first approaches
- Ensure code quality through AI-assisted reviews, automated testing, and ATC standards
AI-Native Development
- Use AI pair programming and code generation as part of the daily development process
- Integrate AI agents into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), for example automated test generation and release validation
- Leverage AI tools for requirements analysis, documentation, and code optimization
- Collaborate closely with the Senior AI Engineer to continuously improve the AI toolchain
Dual-Track Cloud Development
Private Cloud- Enhance and evolve existing SAP products using ABAP OO and Clean Core principles
- Build cloud-native applications on SAP BTP using CAP and SAP Fiori
- Ensure consistent architectural patterns and design governance
- Consider multi-tenancy, scalability, and cloud cost optimization in all solutions
UX & Interaction Design
- Own user experience strategy and design system consistency within the POD
- Design AI-powered interaction patterns and agentic UX workflows
- Create and refine Fiori wireframes and UI components with AI agent support
- Ensure usability, accessibility, and UX consistency across product lines
Quality Engineering & DevOps
- Take end-to-end responsibility for quality within the Development POD
- Define testing strategies, orchestrate AI-generated test suites, and validate edge cases
- Actively contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Implement shift-left quality gates and automated regression testing
- Create technical documentation (SDD/TDD) with AI assistance
Organizational Context
- Embedded within a Public Cloud Development POD (AI-native, lean structure)
